Washington - Law Enforcement Alliance of America (LEAA), the nation's largest coalition of law enforcement professionals, crime victims and concerned citizens, today announced their endorsement of Lisa Atkins for Arizona's Second Congressional District.
LEAA Executive Director and retired police officer Jim Fotis remarked, "Lisa Atkins has worked hard for the people of Arizona and has been committed to keeping our streets safe and supporting local law enforcement in the fight against crime." Fotis noted her experience in promoting common sense crime legislation in Congress during her more than twenty years as Chief of Staff to retiring Arizona Congressman, Bob Stump.
Said Fotis, "LEAA knows Lisa will be committed to helping law enforcement do its job, while preserving the individual liberties of Arizonans, including lawful gun owners. She is principled and proven in her commitment to this issue, and we know that in Congress she will not just be a supporter, but a leader as well."
